I post 30 shorts in 30 days and here's How you can do it
Managing a Youtube channel is not too tough, make a system instead of GOALS
Under the Hood
I admit I am a newbie when it comes to posting on Youtube. As usual like you and everyone, I’ve also watched Peter Mackinon and
I am a big fan of both of them not because of their content but because of their consistency.
Ali keeps on focusing to create systems rather than GOALS.
What does it mean is the big question, I read the same concept in Atomic Habits and now I am listening to it from the top and my favourite people on the internet.
Build a SYSTEM instead of GOALS.
How do you work?
How do you run your company?
What’s your daily routine when it comes to working for your GOAL
and bla bla bla
Let me explain,
Set your GOAL
Create the Deadline - monthly/yearly/weekly
Write the plan, each and everything
Stick to the plan, no matter what, just stick to the plan
That’s it, it’s as simple as it sounds but as difficult to do it.
INVERSION Technique
It’s a technique where you flipped the GOAL or objective and then think about how you can’t achieve that GOAL
Basically, What factors can stop you from accomplishing > the GOAL?
Once you know all the factors that can stop you from achieving goals, the fight becomes easier.
The BIGGER the WHY is the clear the HOW will become
Thinking using the inversion technique will help you stay consistent.
Make a Plan, I did it
So, the goal was to start a youtube channel, like everybody I watched tonnes of other YouTubers to get motivated.
Then I make a plan and use the inversion technique.
How I can’t succeed on Youtube is the FIRST question and a couple of reasons can be listed
If am not consistent
If I don’t get views
If I don’t get money
Those are the 3 important reasons that can STOP me.
Since I knew the reason to get failed, I make a plan accordingly.
And the only thing that came as the solution is to take 30 days video challenge and BOOM, here I commence the process.
Writing down the PLAN
The next and last part is to write down the PLAN.
I am a big fan of Notion, you can use whatever you want just use it.
Just write down the plan, each and everything.
I write down the 10 ideas for the videos
Then I keep the date of publishing when it should be uploaded
Then I write on how to create thumbnails, titles, tags and edit videos
Then I write the way to arrange all the videos in one place, below is the image.
Notion list of my Youtube videos
- Then I write the status of videos, [ uploaded, editing, not started ]
And bla bla bla….
Write down each and everything, it just helps to again stay consistent.
Execution
Well, nothing to talk about execution.
I prefer not to think too much when it comes to executing the plans. Just stick to the plans and my plan was to complete 30 days 30 shorts challenge.
Below is the proof of the shorts I’ve uploaded in 30 days.

Here are my 30 shorts in 30 days and their respective links —
React Bootstrap — Introduction to the most popular frontend framework
Storybook introduction — Document, test and build products in isolation fast
React Awesome Slider — Add slideshow in just few lines of code
Results
Now you might have curiosity regarding the outcome since I’ve just started so I didn’t gain too many subscribers.
But, a BIG but
I’ve more than 100 videos, and more than 100 subscribers almost 200, if you can subscribe, I will easily reach 200 😁
👉🏻 Do subscribe, to my channel 👇
I have got a process or so-called system for creating Youtube videos and gained more than 30K views.
Now, I won’t feel too much pain in creating Youtube videos, in fact, it has become a kind of FUN thing to do after writing code and writing on a medium.
If you are an Indian, I’ve started a new channel in Hindi(my native language) also, so feel free to watch videos in Hindi.

Conclusion
Again,
Create a system,
Make an objective/GOAL
Think using the inversion technique
Write down the plan
Stick to the plan
You will be surprised how interesting this thing is, I am amused and you can thank me later.
Until next time, have a good day.
